Solar Energy
Serving Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Non Profit with Full Solar Project Development, Construction and Repair Service.

Solar service is becoming more popular every day. We are a full, turn-key solar PV provider.  We provide an electric use analysis, a free site survey, design, equipment procurement, installation, commissioning and monitoring.   We also provide all services required for interconnection with the local utility and processing for Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) awards.

Properly sizing for your location and electrical usage is vital for a successful solar system. After we do the electrical use analysis and a site survey specific for generation, you can count on our experts to perform a proper installation.

Our experienced union electricians can perform service work on just about any existing solar array as well.

If your site does not lend well to solar, we will involve our Energy Services Division to offer energy efficiency upgrades and link those projects with available utility incentives.

Solar Industry News for Illinois:

We won!  Ameren Illinois will continue to offer its customers full retail net metering.  The utility lost its argument with the Illinois Commerce Commission and was required to re-calculate its total solar saturation on the Ameren Illinois grid.  That said, as more solar gets installed on the Ameren IL grid, the closer we get to the 5% threshold where Ameren gets to stop full retail net metering.  Installing solar sooner rather than later is the best choice.

All Illinois Shines incentive blocks are closed at this time (12/15/2020).  However, they are accepting projects for a waitlist.  If projects are not built, then SRECs open up and a project from the waitlist is awarded.  If you want solar pv, its best to get on the waitlist now rather than later.

Congress has extended the ITC solar tax credit until the end of 2022.  For anyone purchasing a solar pv array, the full cost of the install will qualify for a Federal tax credit of 26%.

If you have an opportunity to speak to your state legislator, please ask them to support the solar industry by restoring our incentives.  You can submit a comment to them here:  https://www.pathto100.net/action
